Creative Brief:
For this project, we were to create a design board for a type driven/ type accented project. Typography was be the a hero or focus within our concept. Type as hero for motion graphics projects are typically Title Sequences, Kinetic Type, and Info Graphic projects. Any of these could work for this assignment as long as type is considered and treated.
The Concept for this Design Board is: Love
I approached this project from a different viewpoint other than the overused concept of Love in terms of relationships when designing. Instead of implementing the design to represent love in a romantic sense, I want to use the video game, Guild Wars 2, as an object of passion. I want to give people a reason to be interested in this game, a chance to love it if you will, through the design of these boards by emphasizing the points of this game that set it apart from others in its genre. Juxtaposing concept art of varying scenes, creatures, etc along with brushstroke effects to typography, I hope to create a compelling sense of passion for this game that can be felt by others who observe it.
