Anthony Palcic II attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving Cum Laude honors for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Motion Media Design. He is 28 years old and believes design is crucial to everyday life. From the age of 6 he grew up immersed in music and gaming, both underlying passions, that have helped to shape his approach to design. He feels design affects how we all see, think, feel, and react to just about everything. He seeks to express compelling narratives through innovative designs and technical animation.
He strives for excellence in all of his concepts and designs and believes that collaboration is the key to growing as a creative individual. He will express his opinions clearly and respectfully while hoping for the same in return. Family is incredibly important to him in addition to his passion for motion graphics work and gaming, always trying to emphasize a balance between the two.
The moment he began down the motion graphics path at SCAD, he realized that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Anthony shows a passion for typography and technical, clean animation; often regarded as a key frame junkie. There is something to be said about a well designed, fluid animation even for something so simple as an advertisement for a local mom & pop shop. He loves creating unique and elaborate designs and hopes that his clients are being given something they can be proud of. He strives to complete every project to the best of his ability and won’t hesitate to ask questions when needed.
His love for animation goes back to his overwhelming interest in gaming, nature, science, astronomy, and music. For a majority of his life he was surrounded with numerous science and music courses, allowing him to extract the design out of nature and the rhythm out of music in order to apply it to design aesthetics. He loves the technical side of his work and thoroughly enjoy a challenge, often picking up new skills very quickly.
